About

ActLab for Teens and Adults is a four-week Meisner-based film acting class that trains students to perform intuitively and truthfully in the moment, without relying on blocking or pre-planned emotion. With a focus on fast memorization, cold reads, and live coaching, actors develop spontaneity, emotional connection, and confidence on camera. Each session builds toward a final on-camera audition in a simulated casting environment, where students perform prepared scenes and gain insight by also acting as the reader. Designed for small groups to allow individual feedback, the class runs monthly and emphasizes growth, resilience, and a commitment to the craft.
