With 20 years of experience in film and television, Elizabeth Lavender brings deep industry knowledge and a passion for storytelling to her acting classes. Her journey began on stage at Horizon Stage and continued through dance at Ward School and competitive figure skating.
A chance audition in her early 20s led to back-to-back bookings—including a commercial and a movie-of-the-week role—which sparked a lifelong dedication to screen acting.
Elizabeth studied theatre at Red Deer College and later specialized in Motion Picture Arts, supplementing her training in Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, and Los Angeles. Her career has taken her from indie films to hosting a TV series for CHTV, to working on sets with Universal Studios and Disney.
Now based in her hometown of Spruce Grove, Elizabeth is excited to share the transformative power of acting with others—whether they’re curious beginners or passionate performers. Her classes focus on intuitive connection, body awareness, and building confidence through Audition Techniques the Meisner Technique and cold reads.
